Establishment Phase of Network Completed

With the fourth report, this phase of the Navigator Network comes to an end. The Ministry of Research Science and Technology contracted out the establishment phase of the Network, and that now successfully completed, will continue the work from within the organisation.

MoRST is committed to continue the scanning process once this phase of the NN project ends in June 2007. The next phase of the Navigator Network will continue to support an external scanning network, this group scanning both broadly and in more detail on key issues of relevance to policy identified through the first phase. Externally-led futures activities, such as workshops and speaker tours, will also be supported, providing an opportunity for wide engagement and open thinking about future strategic issues for New Zealand and the role of science.
